Palm Paper Limited (PM7) is the UK site for the Palm Group based in King’s Lynn, manufacturing graphic papers. PM7 is the widest, largest and most powerful newsprint machine in the world with the capacity to produce 400,000 metric tonnes of newsprint, improved newsprint and magazine grades per annum. 

Palm Recycling Limited also based at PM7 is responsible for suppling Palm Paper Limited with the required waste paper. Carrying out collections and recycling services for the public sector and for commercial clients.

Production, sales, logistics and finance functions for both Palm Paper Limited and Palm Recycling Limited is all based in King’s Lynn.

Role Summary

Palm Paper is looking for a Business & Administration Coordinator whose main role is to provide business organisational support and high-quality secretarial work to the Managing Director of Business and Administration, along with the company’s other directors.

Job Type: Full-time, 40-hour working week
Pay: £TBC Per Annum (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Organising the Managing Director of Business and Administration diary
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the Business and Admin department
  • Produce monthly expenses
  • Provide the Managing Director of Business and Administration and Sales Managers with itinerary’s containing the relevant customer information
  • Create reports and PowerPoint presentations
  • Receive incoming calls for the mill and on behalf of the Managing Director of Business and Administration
  • Organise and manage company events and manage bookings of internal conference rooms and office supplies
  • Coordinate and organise customer visits and other external mill visits
  • Produce sales and industry reports
  • Liaise with customers and respond to queries
  • Coordinate internal and external marketing and communications of Palm Paper Ltd including social media
  • Responsible for keeping CRM up to date in Salesforce
  • Produce customer contracts
  • Manage diaries of the Business and Admin department and record holiday
  • Raising purchase orders using SAP
  • Executive minute taking and general administrative tasks and support for wider departments

Qualifications and Skills

  • Office/admin experience
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Well-organised with excellent time-keeping
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work to deadlines and remain calm
  • A good team player who is able to work on own initiative
